So, all is well at the Penettiere household after all. I thought that there would be some high drama about the whole thing but it has sizzled out. Ma and Pa Penettiere were spotted walking the dog together. Now, this was an appearance purely for the benefit of the media, so that all the talks about the matter be taken off tabloid. I am not likely to let that happen.
Lets read one of the comments that have reached the press...

They love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion.”Honestly, Do you believe this load of c**p. her husband is in the can and she does not know. Hell, I knew about this before her, if this statement is true. Let us recount some things
1. Pa got mad because Ma was giving eyes to a stranger which he did not like.
2. Pa hit her
3. Ma left with unknown for an unknown place in a really foul mood.
4. Ma did not even bother to assure Pa that there was nothing in his suspicions that could be remotely true.
5. Pa calls up Daughter to tell her that he is in jail.
6. Daughter at that time was with her Boy-fiend after having left the party suddenly before the whole mess happened.
7. Ma is not even aware that her insecure husband is in the jail.
8. What the F is going on!
Now my conclusion
1. No smoke without fire - Pa must have sensed something in the way Ma was flirting to get mad.
2. Ma obviously was enjoying the attention she was getting else she would have noticed that Pa was not very happy about being abandoned while she was having fun with other men.
3. Someone must have called the police for Ma because she sure did not and no uninterested party would come between a husband and wife.
4. That someone obviously wanted Pa not be around Ma that night. He was in the cooler.
5. What the F is going on!
